People You Can Rely On.
Gear You Can Trust.
I came to diving after many years of swimming in a local water rescue club. Once I tried scuba, it quickly became my new favorite sport. What I enjoy most is the space-like feeling underwater: quiet, peaceful, weightless. Especially on closed circuit, everything slows down in the best way. The most memorable dives for me have been caving in Sardinia, walking kilometers deep into the cave system, passing through multiple siphons with sand and crystalclear water. It’s a mix of exploration and concentration that I find addictive. I’m most at home in the dark. Think Czech dams, where every dive feels like a night dive. And that suits me perfectly. I spend most of my time on Czech dams like Slapy and Orlík, where you can see everything from old house foundations to trees and big catfish hiding in the roots. I’m happiest when I can dive every week. For me, diving is the ultimate form of recreation, no matter the conditions. Weekend dives on local dams, a safari boat on the Red Sea, or caving in zero visibility, it all has its own charm.
My Divesoft story began when I was a Freedom diver and a bit of a nitpicker. A friend introduced me to Aleš Procháska, and in 2017 I became part of the Divesoft team. I enjoy the variety: general software development, troubleshooting real hardware, and helping with the more complex support cases.
As for gear, I’ll recommend any sidemount wing, as long as you can clip a Liberty eCCR SM onto it. If I’m not at my desk, you’ll probably find me somewhere near the water. Outside of diving (and anything involving water), I clear my head by rock climbing or doing anything that has to do with rocks. And when I want to switch off completely, I read Tom Clancy novels.
