Who is Claudio Pasino? The sea has always been his natural environment. For over thirty years, Claudio Pasino has experienced diving not merely as a profession, but as a profound passion and a journey of continuous discovery. Throughout these years, he has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most prominent manufacturers of diving equipment, closely following the evolution of technology across recreational, technical, and professional sectors. This experience has allowed him to observe equipment in action within its most authentic context: in the hands of those who work underwater and those who operate in extreme environments, including military settings. He has long been fascinated by shipwrecks and submerged caves—places where time seems to stand still, and every dive tells a unique story. Alongside his work as an instructor, he has also spent years as a technician specializing in the repair of diving equipment, fostering a direct and deep connection with the tools that enable us to explore the underwater world safely. For more than a decade, he has utilized closed-circuit rebreather (CCR) systems—a choice that reflects his personal philosophy of diving: one that is mindful, silent, respectful, and exploration-oriented. He also enjoys sharing this passion beyond the water by organizing diving trips and maintaining relationships with dive centers around the globe; for him, the sea is, above all, about connection—to people, to places, and to the stories held within its depths.
