I was Born in Messina (Sicily - Italy) in 1964; I became a diver in 1981, Tec Instructor in 1995 and Instructor Trainer in 2003. I Worked with PSA, TDI, SSI, SNSI, PSAI and now exclusively with RAID. I was SSI, SNSI and PSAI Instructor Trainer, now I am RAID Tec Training Director Italy & Egypt, RAID CCR Instructor Tec Examiner (ITE) and RAID ResEx IDE (International Director of Exploration). I cetified more of 3000 divers and instructors, I received Platinum Pro 5000 in 2011, in Orlando, and recently i was invited to submitted application form to Explorer Club NY. In 1999 I did my first exploration: I joined a team, as diving supervisor, which discovered and explored the “VIMINALE” shipwreck, sank in Italy. During this expedition I wondered what if I would to do with a rebreather. Unfortunately, at that time, there was only SCR (Dräger), and I was already an SCR Instructor, so I looked with great interest to the world of CCR. In 2000 I checked the MK15 and its Italian prototype, the ‘CCR2000’, with his Israeli testimonial Gassen: I dont agree to this project because I thought it was not properly developed; then I checked the ‘Infinito CCr Project’, and finally, I became an AP-Inspiration Instructor (Classic model- 2002), the only solid and running machine at the time. Then I became Ap-Inspiration Vision Instructor and Instructor Trainer, and recently JJ-CCR instructor and Liberty-CCR Instructor Trainer.
